Vision and Values

Our mission at Hartford Church of England High School is to provide an outstanding inclusive education for all. Children develop and thrive both within and beyond the classroom. They are known and their talents are embraced and promoted. They develop into young people who can make a substantial contribution to the world having enjoyed an education based on a shared set of Christian values that emanate the love and truth of Jesus Christ.

Our values have been created by staff and students working together to create a common language that all stakeholders can relate to. Our HART (Happy, Achieving, Ready and Together) values are rooted in the original values of Hartford Church of England High School founded in 2012, those of Caritas ‘love' and Veritas ‘truth’.

We believe that all members of our school community, whatever their faith background, be this a deep-rooted Christian belief, or no faith at all, can aspire to fulfil and live by our values. We want all students to be good people who love and care for one another. As an educational community, we bring out the best in one another on a daily basis by being Happy, Achieving, Ready and Together.
